Happy New Year Fellow Lions! I hope you and yours had an enjoyable Holiday Season! Wow—half way through our 2021-2022 Lions Year—unbelievable!

Thank you all for the amazing service you have been able to do during these times of COVID. December was a busy month attending some great holiday events and, of course, we had our amazing “Operation Inasmuch” food packing event December 7th! A BIG thank you to the 90+ volunteers who packed 45,000 meals in about five (5) hours. We hope to continue having this event as a District project again next year so stay tuned for more information on that.

It is now time to think about some events coming up in January, February and March!

• January 21-23 is the Lions Learning Retreat (LLR) at the Coffee County Conference Center in Manchester, TN.
• February 18-19 is our DISTRICT 12N CONVENTION at the Holiday Inn West Knoxville with a HAWAIIAN theme. We have some great entertainment planned for both Friday and Saturday evenings!
• March 24-27 is the TN Lions Learning Institute (TLLI) at the Dubose Conference Center in Monteagle, TN.

Registration forms for all of the above are included in the News & Views Newsletter. Remember there are scholarships available for both the LLR and TLLI so sign up soon!

If I have not been to your club yet, I still plan on visiting early next year!
