Lions,

I’m proud to share that in both the months of July AND August our District grew! Not only have we increased in membership, but we are the only District in Tennessee to be positive! It’s a great accomplishment that we should all be proud of.

My main focus this past month has been visiting as many clubs as possible and wow – what a fun it’s been! In the month of August alone I visited Halls, Inskip, Farragut, Norris, Clinton, and Harriman. On top of that, I visited a few zone meetings and one Council Meeting.

I’m constantly encouraged by what our clubs are doing. Large and small clubs alike continue to serve those in need in new and inventive ways. Lions are making a difference!

I want to encourage you all to join us for the Cabinet Meeting and Fall Forum in October. In an effort to be better stewards of your time, we have combined the two events into one single day. We are bringing in special Lions leaders from other states, so you are sure to learn something new. In fact, if you join us that day and don’t walk away satisfied, I’ll personally reimburse you for the registration cost. That’s how confident I am that you’ll love it!
