District Governor Paulette’s Post – February 2022
Happy Valentine’s Month to all of our wonderful Lions! Thank you for all you do “Serving from the Heart” in
taking care of the needs of your communities! PLEASE
remember to report your service on MyLion.
We have a NEW Lions Club – Caryville Cares Leo-
Lions. Our very own PCC Brandon Johnson has single- handedly put together this younger club of entrepreneurs wanting to serve their community. Many of the members were originally members of the Anderson or Campbell County Leo Club so this new club will be designated as a Leo-Lion Club. Congratulations to Brandon and the new club! Please welcome the new club members into the Lions family. Once a Charter Night celebration date has been decided, we will let you know.
As you should have heard by now, the 12N District Convention has been moved from February to March 18-19 due to increased COVID numbers. Hopefully you can still attend! You are in for a real treat with our entertainment—Elvis on Friday night and a murder mystery dinner
on Saturday night! The best thing of all is sharing good fellowship with each other! A new registration form is available here.
I am still attempting to visit a few clubs that I have not been to yet, however, due to continuing COVID issues, some clubs are once again not meeting. Hopefully things will improve later in the Spring!
Yours in Lionism,
-DG Paulette Bailey
