‘BETWEEN THE LIONS’

It is great to look back on the District 12N activities during the first six months of my DG term in 2022. My hats off to all of the clubs that held events and fundraisers in their respective communities in these post-Covid times.

Save the date: March 17 – 18, 2023, for our annual District 12N Convention to be held at the Music Road Resort & Convention Center in Pigeon Forge. Texas ID Sam Lindsey will be our guest speaker along with many surprises! Rumor has it that our beloved moonshine hospitality suite might make a return visit. Stay tuned for registration info…

As we start our New Year of 2023, it is not too early to think about Club and District 2023-2024 elections. We need two Lions to step up and fill vacancies at the
district level immediately! 1st VDG Frank McCall and I need your assistance before the convention to fill the current 2nd VDG spot and then the other spot when he/she moves up to 1st VDG after the elections. I understand it is very difficult to fill these spots due to the constraints of the new LCI by-laws but we have many talented individuals in our 42 clubs. Please consider this a formal ‘ask.’

Please post your club activities including photos of your Food Packing Event deliveries in social media. Keep me posted on your upcoming meeting and spring activities calendar. THANX!!!
