Feeling Blessed

Serving as District Governor for Lions District 12-N has been a great honor. I feel very blessed to have served alongside such dedicated and compassionate leaders and Lions throughout our district. This year reminded me that if we communicate, collaborate and serve there is no ceiling to the impact we can make. Through open communication we strengthened relationships, shared more ideas effectively, and stayed connected in a common mission to serve others. Our collaboration across the district was inspiring. Different clubs with new and seasoned members supported projects, responded to needs of others, and served each other.

When we work together great things can be accomplished. Lastly we served. This year we focused on our mental health at the club level, screened for vision impairments, provided meals for the hungry, recycled glasses, assisted with flood relief efforts, provided diabetic kits, educated others about disasters, and provided preparedness kits for when a disaster hits. This list goes on. Thank you for your support, encouragement and patience throughout this journey. I will always cherish these memories, relationships and lessons learned during my time as DG.

I look forward to the years to come as PDG Nate.
