Fall Forum Scheduled for October 8, 2016
District Learning Opportunities
Walters State Community College
Morristown, TN
Saturday, October 8, 2016
8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
As part of my initiatives as District Governor during 2016-2017, I would like to offer a half day of learning opportunities followed by a light lunch and two service project(s) – one a food collection for Second Harvest who serves all East TN and a service project dedicated to honoring our men and women serving our country.
Would you be interested in attending an event such as this? If so, what type of class would you be interested in attending? Some suggested possibilities are:
- Lions 101/Orientation
- Technology – Don’t be Afraid of it
- Engaging Youth in our Clubs
- 5 Easy Tips for Membership Growth
Your thoughts/ideas are solicited – please let me know what you might like to learn about – you can send me an e-mail at mailto:ladipee@aol.com. With your ideas we will put a program together for a Fall Forum October 8th. More information and a sign up sheet to come.
There are also several webinars and classes that you can take through the LCI website –www.lionsclubs.org search Member Center, Resources.
Another place to enjoy learning is Lions University through the USA/Canada Leadership Forum website – http://www.lionsforum.org You can earn a Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD by taking the courses and attending the Forums.
I hope you have an opportunity to use some or all of these avenues to enrich yourself with learning.
Happy Learning and Happy spring!
Paulette Bailey
