Loudon County Lions Partner for Habitat for Humanity Home
Lions break ground on December 3 in Loudon for a new Habitat for Humanity home.
The Tellico Village, Loudon and Lenoir Lions Clubs sponsored the house, along with a financial contribution from the Farragut Lions Club, District 12-N and a Lions Clubs International Foundation matching grant.
This partnership makes possible a home for Kristin and her two children, Danny and Ariel. Special recognition at the groundbreaking ceremony was given to Past District Governor Chuck Bailey (Loudon Lions Club) who researched and prepared the LCI grant, and Tellico Village Lion Dick Kolasheski, Lions project chairperson.
