ETLEB Board President PDG Steve Lewis, Emeritus Board Member PDG John Sanders, and ETLEB Executive Director Valerie Stewart at the July 19, 2012 Board Meeting
Past District Governors Joe Dailey (Karns Lions Club), John Sanders (Oak Ridge Lions Club), and Fred Sherrod (Knoxville Tri-County Lions Club) have been honored with appointments as Emeritus Board Members of East Tennessee Lions Eye Bank (ETLEB).
In letters from Executive Director Valerie Stewart, it was conveyed:
You have been an outstanding Board Member at ETLEB and it is most fitting that you be recognized for your contributions by being awarded Emeritus status. This appointment will allow you to continue playing an active role in the life of the East Tennessee Lions Eye Bank and entitles you to continue receiving all information provided to the Board of Directors and to attend and participate in any Board Meetings you wish to attend without obligating you to any attendance policy.

ETLEB Executive Director Valerie Stewart, Emeritus Board Member PDG Joe Dailey, and ETLEB Board President PDG Steve Lewis at the July 19, 2012 Board Meeting
We thank you for your outstanding contributions to the Lions Eye Bank. It is still a pleasure to have you on our Board and we look forward to continuing that relationship in your emeritus position.
