District Governor Nathanael’s Message – January 2026
Happy New Year!
As we start a new year, many of us will use this new beginning as a way to start over placing a goal/s at the end of the finishing line December 31, 2026.
Some popular goals include: Weight loss or fitness, getting my money in order, reading my Bible, and the list goes on… Historically only around 25% of people will commit to their annual goals past 30 days. Less than 8% achieve their new year goals.
To keep goals top of mind write them down. Visual reminders prompt small actions daily that will yield results. Daily exposure reinforces our brains and tells us that what we are doing matters. I have a few personal and business goals that I want to achieve in 2026. My phone background has been changed so I can view that goal multiple times per day; I have also changed my passwords so I have to type my goals out. Let’s dream big in 2026.
I’m wishing you much success as we try to improve our lives and the lives of others.
In Service, Nathanael Hughes, District Governor
