The Lions District 12-N Charities Board of Directors/Trustees has established a proposed budget for the Lions Fiscal Year 2011-2012 to be voted upon at the District 12-N Convention on February 19, 2011.
The budget is based on information provided by the project chairs and the Treasurer’s report of funds available. The available balance is 27.2% less than the prior year, so significant cuts had to be proposed.
The allocation for Lions Volunteer Blind Industries (LVBI) will be applied to the LCIF-supported capital expansion, which will provide a 10,000 square foot building and add 50 new jobs in the District. The Diabetes Awareness allocation will support plans to conduct health fairs on Diabetes and a District-wide essay contest.
