Lions have recognized a service need for hearing aids in the East Tennessee Lions District, but have struggled with how to pay the high cost.  An immediate opportunity is available to meet some of that need at no cost.

Hearing tests will be conducted as part of the Remote Area Medical mission October 8, 9, and 10.  The clinic will be held at the Bristol Motor Speedway from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.

The Audiology Department from East Tennessee State University will be present to do the ear molds for a number of free hearing aids.  The recipients will then need to go to Johnson City during the school’s Christmas break to receive their hearing aid and to have the final adjustments made.
