The District 12-N VISITATION PROGRAM is up and running!

All Lions can get credit for visiting another Lions Club meeting, Lions Club activity or fundraiser, White Cane agency, District event, LCI event, Forum, etc.  All you have to do is e-mail your report to PDG Clare Crawford at chcrawford@frontiernet.net or go to the District 12-N web site and complete a short form.

Almost anything Lions-related counts, as long as you are doing it away from your own Club.  For instance:

• You visit another club for a regular meeting, or
• You buy a hamburger from another club at their fundraising booth, or
• You enter your dog in another club’s dog show, or
• You go and drink wine at the Farragut Lions wine tasting, or
• You attend the Tennessee Lions Learning Retreat, etc.

NO CREDIT will be given for “official business” on behalf of Lions.  “Official businesss” might include a Zone Chairman visiting one of his/her clubs or the District Governor making an annual visit or a Lion giving a program at another club.  However, if another member of their club goes with the “official Lion” on the visit, that other Lion can get credit for a visit.

It’s actually very easy!  The hardest part is letting PDG Clare know about your travels — telephone calls don’t count, it has to be in writing.

There will be a prize for every Lion who participates in this program at the end of this Lions’ year and we’d like to see which Clubs are traveling the most, so let’s get busy and fill up Lion Clare’s e-mail inbox!
