The East Tennessee Lions Clubs are presenting A Day With The Lions, Walk For Sight Walkathon on Saturday June 7, at the Karns Lions Club Community Pool.

Registration for the Walkathon starts at 9am and is $25.00 per entrant.  Each entrant will receive four individual day passes for the Pool.   Also,  A Day with the Lions will include a Motorcycle Run, A Car Show, Health Fair, Kid Games, and food venders.

This is the principal annual fundraiser for the East Tennessee Lions many charities.  These charities include Leader Dogs for the Blind, East Tennessee Eye Bank, Tennessee School for the Deaf, Tennessee School for the Blind, Diabetes Awareness, Lions Volunteer Blind Industries and many more.

All of these charities benefit people just like us, who, through accident or fate need help or training.  No one is immune from bad luck.  Many support these charities because they believe in helping our brothers.  Just as importantly, supporting these charities and keeping them strong is a form of insurance that if something bad does happen to us, or someone we love, help will be available.  Supporting this Walk for Sight makes it possible for us to provide that help on a scale that no individual can.

Bring the family Saturday, June 7, to the Karns Lions Community Pool and spend a Day with the Lions.  You will have a ball.

Directions:

  • 6618 Beaver Ridge Road, Knoxville, TN
  • Take Highway 62
  • Pool is across from Ingles Market
