2011 Officer and Zone Chair Training

UPDATE: Another training session will be offered for incoming Club Officers and Zone Chairs appointed for the 2011-2012 year AFTER the District 12-N Organizational Meeting on July 16, 2011 at Lions Volunteer Blind Industries (LVBI) in Morristown.   Direction to LVBI are below.

If you plan to attend, please notify Nancy Hall at nehall001@bellsouth.net so sufficient material and food will be available.

Congratulations on your Lions Club’s achievements this year!  I’m sure that your Club has elected officers for the 2011-2012 year.  Please encourage these incoming officers to attend Incoming Officers training.

Incoming Officers training will be held at two locations and food will be provided, so a reservation is needed.

  • The first training session will be held on Saturday morning, April 30, 2011, at LVBI (758 West Morris Boulevard in Morristown – see map below).  We will begin the session at 9:00 a.m.  Please come at 8:30 a.m. and join us for a light breakfast.  Training will be completed by 11:20 a.m.  Contact Lion Nancy Hall (865-694-6939 or nehall001@bellsouth.net) no later than Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
  • The second session will be held on Thursday evening, May 26, 2011, at Powell Presbyterian Church (2910 West Emory Road in Powell – see map below).  We will serve dinner from Buddy’s BBQ beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Sessions will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be completed by 9:00 p.m.  Contact Lion Nancy Hall (865-694-6939 or nehall001@bellsouth.net) no later than Monday, May 23, 2011.

There will be sessions for Incoming Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, and Membership Chairs.  Any Lion is welcome to attend.
